Billy Reid, a fashion designer rooted in Southern heritage and based in Florence, Alabama, aimed to refresh his brand for a new seasonal campaign. His collections reflect timeless craftsmanship and local influences—from the Muscle Shoals music scene to “Shindig” events—while drawing on personal stories like his 20-year love for K-Swiss sneakers. The challenge was to translate this authenticity into a modern digital strategy that balanced storytelling, design, and cross-platform consistency to drive engagement and sales.

Bringing It to Life

To bring the project to life, I took a hands-on approach using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and responsive design principles:

  • Design & Integration: Conducted user research, then prototyped a Figma redesign reflecting Billy Reid’s warm, Southern aesthetic with interactive ‘Shindig’ pages and dedicated K-Swiss storytelling sections.

  • Multi-Channel Campaign: Built responsive web and microsite layouts, crafted dynamic email and social content (including animated GIFs), and used A/B testing to refine visuals and CTAs.

  • Collaboration: Partnered with Billy Reid’s team, writers, and developers through agile sprints, applying design systems for consistency and vintage-inspired K-Swiss integrations.
